Hi Marcella,    You had made a cake for my son Tyler's 10th birthday party today, it was a Diary of a Wimpy Kid cake.  I must tell you that it was the best cake I have ever tasted, and it looked amazing to boot.   All the kids LOVED it.    You are very talented, and we are definately looking forward to you making some more cakes for us in the future.  1.  How early do I need to place my order?


 Some dates book up quickly, so in order to assure availability, we recommend that  you confirm your specialty cake order at least 2 - 3 weeks in advance.

 2.  If I received an estimate, does that guarantee my order?


No, after you receive an estimate, you must contact us to confirm your order. 


 

 3.  Do you have cakes ready-to-go?


No, all of our desserts are custom made-to-order.


 

4.  Do you offer tastings?

We currently are not offering tastings


 

 5.  How much are your cakes?


Each of our cakes are customized to your specifications, so your flavour choices, number of servings required, and intricacy of design, are factors which determine the  price.  Cake prices start at $45.00 and cupcakes start at $2.15 each.


 

 6.  What size of serving should I order?


If you'll be serving your cake as part of a meal, a "Dessert Size" serving is usually appropriate. 

 

A "Wedding Size" serving is smaller, and works well if you're serving your cake as part of a dessert table where guests will have a variety of desserts to choose from.


A "Party Size" serving works well when you need more generous servings.


 

 7.  What is the difference between Buttercream and Fondant?


Fondant is a rolled icing.  It is typically used on wedding and designer cakes, to give a  smooth, satin-like surface to the cake.  Fondant can be custom tinted to wide variety  of colours.   We even offer chocolate fondant and white chocolate fondant.  

Buttercream is a creamy, whipped icing which is typically applied with a spatula or by  piping.   It can be used for filling and icing cakes.    We also offer coloured and flavoured buttercream icings.

9.  Do you deliver?


Yes, we deliver throughout Southern Ontario.   Delivery charge is determined by distance.
