Wedding Cake and Cupcakes – July 2013

Marcella baked 200 cupcakes in three different flavours (lemon, spice and peanut butter chocolate) for our wedding, as well as a little cake for the top tier of the cake stand. The cupcakes were pretty and delicious and everyone loved them! The cupcakes were to be given out as favours at the end of the night. She boxed up them up for us in pretty white boxes with a viewing window, delivered them to the hall and arranged them on the table in an attractive manner. The cake made it in one piece! The final road into the cottage resort was a bumpy one but I held on to the box for dear life!

My girlfriend teared up when she saw it- she thought it was absolutely beautiful. (Her grandmothers loved how elegant it was-- and of course they took pieces home to freeze!).

As for the taste- wow! We could not believe how amazing it tasted. I don't know how you made it but well done. I kept hearing comments all night about how this was the first wedding cake that actually tasted good. One of the elderly relatives took a bite and said, now that's how you do it. I had to laugh but she's right. 50th Wedding Anniversary Cakes

Hi Marcella Your note was very kind considering the torture I put you through.  I wanted to come with my sister and get the cakes but when we arrived at the……... The cakes however, were the highlight and worked out tremendously well!

Mom and Dad have the cake topper still in tact from Sat night and are having a small party on Friday at their home and will have it then. Perfect!

The cakes for Sunday were a huge hit

We cut the one layer for most of the guests and a few got a piece of the 'present' cake which was a huge hit.

Wedding Shower Cake

I would like to order a cake for my grandson’s 3rd birthday party.  You actually did a bridal shower cake for me in August.  It was the one with the “stick people style” bride and groom – yellow and black colour theme.  I now see the cake in your photo gallery – I feel like a celebrity!

65th Bday / Retirement Party - Princess Castle Cake

Hi Marcella I meant to send you an email thanking you for the great job you did.
You know what, you should have come out to the van with me when I picked up the cake......just to see the look of awe on my kids' faces and the sounds they were making would have been enough - I don't think they showed as much excitement on their first trip to Disneyland.
The drive was fine, only scare I had was when I was coming off your front porch....I almost tripped on the lower step, but everything was smooth after that and no problems at all.
The cake was  huge hit....everyone loved it.  It was beautiful and I thank you again.  Just as I thought and I'm glad we decided on the extra towers because they all started going nuts for the towers.  They did mention that they got a bit hard to chew (I guess too much candy), so for the future if there's anything you can do to make the towers easier or softer to chew, that's about the only feedback I can send your way.  Other than that it was simply the best.
My mom loved it and I think it was the highlight of the night for her.
Honestly, I don't know how to express my gratitude to you for making such a beautiful cake.  THANK YOU!          Tim
